    You do need to get a free Technorati account and a free API key, which you can get here: http://www.technorati.com/developers/apikey.html
    However, that page displays
    “Our new API is currently under construction. ”

    I guess we have to wait.

    When I did my research, about a month back, the linked worked and I got the API key. I will make a note to see if they upgrade the plugin when the new API is released.
